B.S. contact information

I have a complaint about a store personal that is being shafted due to AGE !.

And there is NO NUMBERS at all to speak to anyone in America about this travesty.

Just a call taker in a 3rd world nation who barely speaks English.

VERY,VERY shabby for a company that takes my money [ and LOTS of it ] to be wasting in out of country 'service'.

If you need a laugh, try getting an actual number for the home office in Bohemia NY.

Good luck.

Shipping and customer service sucks.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

1. Didn't know, but they said shipping takes 24-48 "business hours" which took three full day (mon-thurday, Just time to get shipped!).

2. They said delivery take 3-8 business days, which ended up two weeks..? don't say three to ~ just say 10-14days.

3. I was keep contacting them that I'm traveling soon that I can't receive the package if it comes late. > customer service cannot do anything. just saying "track the package". or refund later. How can you so sure the package in front of apt door will be there for months! It could be stolen..pretty sure.

4. Every time had to speak with different person. Explaining my situation again and again..

Most importantly, they were accusing me not knowing their billing department had problem with billing discrepancy and delayed the shipping which later found out there is no problem.

Communicate! So annoyed. Guess I can't even get a refund cause I'm leaving the States! waste of money.

Order was deleted in their system for no reason

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I had shopped with Vitamin World many times in the past and I always knew that their shipping was kinda slow. This time I placed an order 1 week ago.

I waited for a whole week and my order status is still In Process. Until I contacted them, I was not aware that my order placed thru Paypal did not even exist in their system. Then I asked them if they could replace my order and rush the shipping since I've been waiting for so long.

They told me that's impossible and the only thing I can do is to wait for them to contact me 24-48 hours via email to see if I can get a refund. Totally BS and super unprofessional.

You are probably better off just ordering whatever you want from Amazon---you can check products, prices, and unless they send it via USPS, the delivery is reliably prompt.

Gone downhill

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have been a customer for many years ordering from Vitamin World I loved their sales and high-quality vitamins. I don't know if they changed suppliers or what.

The last vitamins I got were not good quality that I was used to so I simply wanted a refund, that's when the *** started. Many hours of phone calls even though they say they guarantee their product you can't get anywhere with them. Supervisor after supervisor promising things that never happen. They don't mind losing long-term customers I guess.

The most incompetent sorry people I have ever met in my entire life what happened to this company?

It used to be good. Don't order from them!

Vitamin world is a big rip off!!

I ordered 6 item from vitamin world. mostly health tea.

I placed the order on January 13th' 2018 . On January 15th I got a email saying my order has shipped. Now it is January 26th and I have not received any package at all... No product was sent to my address.

I called Vitamin world just to get the run around everyday. Monday I called and they said that I should call usps and find out what happened to my package. No info was found. I called back to file a missing claim with vitamin world and since then everyday they tell me that there is a problem with the system is being updated and they can not process any orders until the update is complete.

This has been going on for more then a week now. Now it is January 26th 2018 and I still do not have any answers to where my order is or what they can do to replace my order. excuses after excuses. Very, Very bad business they are running.

I will never ever order anything from Vitamin World again.. Bad Business. I do not want it to stop here.. they need to know you can not take people money and just don't care about their order like it is a joke to them!!!

who can I write to warn the customers of ordering from vitamin world is a big mistake.. and it needs to stop!!!

I will be filing a claim with BBB and I hope it shake some sense into them. RIP OFF!!!!

Abusive workers conditions.

I am visiting the U.S Virgin islands and in the time here I've been at Vitamin World and even though the service was excellent, it is ridiculous and probably illegal for this company to have only one person working, and besides that fact, still the young lady( dont know her age but looks young to me) do her job with so much poise and determination to help you.

Most of shipment lost

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

The online experience was great, however, my packages were totally messed up for shipment. I purchased items on November 26, and it is now December 13, and I have not gotten most of my items.

I received two packages, one week and two weeks after my order, each with part of my order, yet a large portion of my order went missing. I had to call in to customer service who had no idea what happened (his attitude was great though). I had to tell them through phone exactly which items were shipped and were not shipped.

Now I will not be able to get my items in time as a gift. Seems like they have a very broken shipment management system.

AVOID vitaminworld.com AT ALL COSTS...this is a must read.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Hi all! I normally do not write bad reviews, but I must do so for the sake of preventing anyone else from enduring what I went through.

NOTE: this review is intended for Vitamin Worlds headquarters in the US regarding their *online* store (not any specific store, but I didn't see an option for the online specifically)... Ok, so I created a Yelp account simply to get the word out on how awful Vitamin Worlds online store is (vitaminworld.com). I had two bad experiences and will summarize them below. Normally, when I am burnt once, that it enough for me, but I was encouraged to give the site one more chance (as I was informed it was possible the initial experience was due to their being new to online merchandising).

Don't make the same mistake(s) I did! Go to gardenoflife.com. swansonvitamins.com, puritanspride.com, or even just GNC instead. The first incident involved a really good online promo code that was valid for application onto some things that were already on sale.

I am a HUGE "Garden of Life" fan and was purchasing a number of their products. The total ended up being a fraction of what I normally pay, so I was super excited for the deal. Long story short, they never shipped two of the products in my order (there were supposed to be 4 total), however, they charged me in full for all of the items. There was no notation on the packing slip to explain why the items were missing.

The packing slip noted them as being in the box, but they definitely were not there. Upon calling them (there was no email address at the time to get it in writing), I discovered it was a call center where you could hear the conversations of many other people and dialects in the background. The representative could barely speak English and was neither friendly nor apologetic. He simply said "oh, they are probably backordered.

Just give it some time." I explained that I was running really low on the products and needed them quickly. He said there was basically nothing he could do at this point. So I waited a week then called back. This time (same background noise and unaccommodating customer service), they said "we see that the moment your order was received, our warehouse ran out of the products.

We will see if we can get you a refund." I immediately said I did not want a refund, but my products. They placed me on hold for at least five minutes then came back on the line to tell me their manager (no name would be disclosed) approved a courtesy refund. A courtesy??? I was baffled: their mistake, but it was going to be a courtesy refund?

I was in awe of that and did eventually get my money back (about a week later). I believe they didn't properly manage their promo codes versus what should be applicable and didn't want to lose out on profits, so said it was "backordered". Being an eCommerce Manager myself, I was blown away by this whole experience. Not only should my original order been honored, perhaps a small discount for a future order would have been a better "courtesy"...

I never had a bad experience in the actual Vitamin World stores, so I continued to shop there when I became low on certain necessities. They were always very helpful and so I decided to give the online store one more chance (as they explained that they were relatively new to their online merchandising platform). Big mistake! Read on for (final) nightmare #2 (about a year later)...

The second time was a similar scenario: they emailed me a fabulous promo code, but I was reluctant to use it, naturally. So I waited a few days, then decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and place one more order (all Garden of Life products). The results: 1 full box of protein bars were missing (my whole reason for the order!) I was also charged in full for all items. On the packing slip this time, however, there was a sloppy stamper that was barely legible that seemed to read "backordered...no estimated ship date".

This time, there was an email address to contact customer service, so I opted to go that route instead of the phone route. I explained everything very clearly and was responded with this (brace yourself!): "our records indicate all items in your order were shipped. Thank you and have a great day!" Really?!?! After one more attempt of trying to work things out directly with them to no avail, I had no choice but to dispute the charge through my credit card, which ruled in my favor.

This dragged on for about a month and a half with the investigation and everything. One last note: even after unsubscribing from their email list, I STILL receive emails and discount coupons in the mail. I thank you for taking the time to read this and I truly hope you take my advice and AVOID Vitamin World at all costs...they are definitely on their way out with this kind of service and will not have longevity at this rate.

I will not be shopping with them at all anymore, in any capacity and have been informing everyone I know to avoid them. R U N...

Cancelled order

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I attempted to order over the phone. Over the course of 2 days I gave my 2 credit card numbers and was repeatedly told that they were declined.

Calling my credit card issuer, I find no problem with the card nor do they have any record of vitamin world attempting to put through a charge. I know the card is good because I just used it locally also! The representative continues to assure me that they don’t have a problem and it is my issue.

Apparently they do have a problem and are not recognizing it. Will purchase my vitamins elsewhere!!!!!!
